How long do lash extensions last?

With proper aftercare, lash extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed. Everyone’s lash cycle is different, but I’ll guide you on how to maintain your lashes between appointments.

Are spray tans safe for my skin?

Yes — I use professional-grade, skin-safe solutions formulated to deliver a natural, streak-free glow without harmful UV exposure.

How should I prepare for a spray tan?

For the best results: exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment, avoid lotion, perfume, and deodorant the day of, and wear loose, dark clothing after your session.

How do I care for my spray tan?

To extend your glow, wait at least 8 hours before showering, moisturize daily, and avoid long baths, hot tubs, or harsh exfoliants.

Do you require a patch test for lashes?

For first-time lash clients, I recommend a patch test 24–48 hours before your appointment to ensure there are no sensitivities to the adhesive.

Can I wear makeup with lash extensions?

Yes — just avoid oil-based products and waterproof mascara, as they can weaken the lash bond.

Policies and Information

Please Read Before Your Appointment

At GloCouture Beauty Lounge, client safety and satisfaction come first. Every set of lashes and every service is customized to you — but it’s important to remember that results will vary. Eye shape, lash health, and natural lash volume all affect what’s achievable. We’ll always discuss your goals and ensure your desired look is realistic and safe for your natural lashes.

Punctuality

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before your appointment to complete paperwork, use the restroom, and prepare for your service.

  • Lashes must be clean and makeup-free prior to your appointment.

  • If makeup is present, a deep cleanse will be added for an additional $10.
    Extra cleaning time reduces lashing time, so please arrive prepared.

Relevant Medical Conditions

Please inform us ahead of time if you have any medical conditions or sensitivities (e.g., claustrophobia, back pain, allergies, chemotherapy treatments, adhesive sensitivities, etc.). Your health and safety are always our priority, and we’ll review any concerns before your appointment.

Securing Your Appointment

A valid credit card on file is required for all bookings.

  • Your card will only be charged in accordance with our cancellation and no-show policy.

  • You may use any payment method at your appointment.

Late Arrivals

If you’re running late, please call or text as soon as possible.

  • Appointments are held for 15 minutes past your scheduled time.

  • If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your service may be shortened.

  • Arrivals over 15 minutes late are considered a no-show, and the corresponding fee will apply.

Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

  • 24+ hours’ notice: No fee.

  • Less than 24 hours: 50% of the service total will be charged.

  • No-shows: 100% of the service total will be charged immediately.

Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in a prepayment requirement or refusal of future bookings.

Lash Extension Fills

Fill appointments require at least 20% of extensions remaining and must be booked within 4 weeks of your last fill.

  • Less than 20% remaining: +$30 additional charge.

  • No extensions remaining: Charged as a Full Set.

Managing Expectations

Every client’s retention and results will vary. Factors such as aftercare, lash cycle, oil production, and lifestyle all influence longevity.
If you experience significant shedding or issues within 48 hours of your service, contact us immediately. We’re happy to correct any issues related to application. After 48 hours, adjustments may incur an additional fee.

Illness & Health

Please do not come to your appointment sick. If you’re ill, contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. If you arrive visibly ill, your appointment may be canceled and charged.
If we need to cancel due to staff illness, we’ll contact you promptly to reschedule.

After-Hours Appointments

After-hours appointments are available by request for an additional $35 fee. Contact 816-547-5884 to arrange.

Guests & Children

Due to safety and focus requirements, please do not bring children or guests to your appointment. Guests are not permitted in treatment rooms, and children cannot be left unattended.

Inclement Weather

Your safety matters most. If weather conditions are unsafe, appointments may be rescheduled. We’ll contact you immediately if closures occur.

Other Lash Artists’ Work (Foreign Fills)

For safety reasons, we do not perform fills on lashes applied by another artist.
If removal is necessary:

  • Removal + new full set: No additional charge for removal.

  • Removal only: $35 fee.

Refunds

Due to the nature of beauty services and products, refunds are not issued for services or retail sales.
